Overview
Kate Gauthier is a land use attorney who handles matters involving zoning, variances, special exceptions, and master plan development and implementation in the District of Columbia.
Kate is precise and thorough in her practice. She pays meticulous attention to every detail and ensures nothing is overlooked no matter how tight the deadline. She focuses on understanding client needs and providing pragmatic, innovative solutions to achieve their goals.
Kate previously served as a judicial extern for Judge Andrew Rodovich in the United States District Court, Northern District of Indiana. She earned her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and her bachelor’s degree in political science from Concordia University Chicago.
In her free time, Kate enjoys visiting her family out west for ski trips, running (she has completed a marathon in Berlin, Germany, and is training for her second in Chicago), working her way through every museum in Washington, D.C., and backpacking. An enthusiastic traveler, she’s always planning her next adventure.
