Land development and construction projects often intersect with environmental laws and regulations such as forest conservation, sediment control, and stormwater management. In fact, most projects begin with a Natural Resources Inventory/Forest Stand Delineation Plan (NRI/FSD), a plan showing existing environmental features on the property.

Specifically, our attorneys assist with stormwater management easements and covenants, tree protection agreements and forest conservation easements, creation of forest conservation mitigation banks, soil erosion/sediment control permits, requirements for Special Protection Areas, review of environmental provisions in master plans, and green building requirements.
