Child Support

Rise to every challenge

protecting what's most important to you

In Maryland and DC, parents are required to support their children until the age of 18-21, depending on the jurisdiction (and in some circumstances, to provide support for adult children). Lerch Early attorneys help parents reach agreements and court orders regarding child support, and modify or enforce existing agreements or orders.

Factors affecting required child support include the parents’ incomes, physical custody arrangements, the number of children, health care insurance and expenses for the children, and work-related childcare. To talk about child support, contact one of Lerch Early’s divorce and family law attorneys.
