On behalf of the attorneys in our Land Use Practice Group, let me be the first to welcome you to Zoned In, Lerch Early’s new Land Use & Zoning blog.

For years, we’ve been keeping developers, property owners, and investors informed on land use trends and topics through our e-newsletter, seminars, and personal outreach. However, our new blog will allow us to bring you additional, timely information from Montgomery County,  Prince George’s County, and other surrounding jurisdictions on a more regular basis.

On our blog, you will find content written by our expert Land Use & Zoning attorneys on a variety of real estate and development-related matters, including master planning, rezoning, entitlements, permitting, environmental issues, and administrative appeals, to name a few. We also closely follow important governmental processes in both Counties, such as pending legislative and regulatory updates – for example, as of recent, we have been closely following and participating in the Montgomery County Subdivision Staging Plan and the Prince George’s 2035 plan.

A little about us: Lerch Early’s Land Use attorneys (pictured below) help clients obtain approvals by using strategic thinking and creating consensus among key stakeholders. We are focused on identifying the best path to completion and taking care of the milestones and minutiae along the way, and we know how to keep projects moving in a timely manner.

Find more information about our practice and our attorneys on our website.

We hope that you will “stay tuned” for more, and we look forward to seeing you in this space soon!

Sincerely,

Chris Ruhlen
