Bill Goldberg will be giving a “Primer on Letters of Intent and Term Sheets – When are they Enforceable?” at the 2019 Maryland State Bar Association Annual Meeting. The program will include:
- A review and analysis of Maryland case law on the enforceability of term sheets/letters of intent through 2015;
- How the Court of Appeals’ 2015 decision in Falls Garden clarified the law; and
- Practical drafting tips to ensure that you’re not bound to a preliminary agreement (unless you want to be).
