White-Collar Attorney Stuart Berman Named Principal at Lerch Early
Lerch, Early & Brewer is pleased to name attorney Stuart Berman as a principal in the firm. Stuart is a litigator who represents businesses and individuals facing criminal investigation and prosecution or civil enforcement action by federal and state authorities in Maryland and around the country.
“We are fortunate to have Stuart’s keen intellect and trial experience in our white-collar defense practice,” said Steve Robins, Lerch Early’s managing partner. “His decades as a federal prosecutor combined with his entrepreneurial spirit allow him to vigorously represent businesses and individuals involved in white-collar proceedings or who have been victims of economic crime.”
Stuart’s experience as a former federal prosecutor with more than 40 felony jury trials benefits his clients: businesses, corporate officers and employees, and other individuals involved in white-collar criminal investigations and prosecutions, civil litigation, and administrative proceedings.
Because of Stuart’s long experience, he also has represented businesses and individuals who are victims of economic crime in their interactions with law enforcement agencies and prosecutors.
Stuart received his bachelor of arts with distinction in all subjects from Cornell University and his law degree cum laude from Harvard Law School. He joined the firm’s Litigation practice as of counsel in 2016.
