Community Associations Attorney Nura Rafati recently wrote about the importance of getting involved in the Legislative Action Committees and Legislative Committees that advocate on behalf of common ownership communities.
“The Legislative Committees are part of the Washington Metropolitan Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (WMCCAI) and are focused on local and regional legislative issues that may affect common ownership communities. Your contribution is critical in helping fulfill CAI’s advocacy mission, communicate with policy makers, and raise CAI’s profile at state capitols,” writes Rafati, co-chair of the Maryland Legislative Committee.
