Stuart Berman will be speaking on “Cybersecurity: Protect Yourself and Your Customers” to the Apple Processors Association at its 2017 Washington Seminar.

 The Apple Processors Association is a national association of companies that manufacture quality apple products from whole apples. Members are apple grower/processor cooperatives and companies, and suppliers to the industry. They each grow a portion of the apples they process in local orchards. APA members produce a majority of the nation’s applesauce, apple juice, and specialty products.

Stuart Berman helps business evaluate and comply with data breach notification laws when the suspect or respond to a cyberattack.  He joined the firm’s Litigation practice after serving 28 years in the U.S. Department of Justice, including 23 years at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Maryland. As the Computer and Telecommunications Crime Coordinator for many years, he investigated and prosecuted computer intrusion cases, working closely with the FBI and Secret Service cybercrime squads.
