Nathan Bresee helps property owners, lenders, title insurers, developers, and community associations resolve complex real estate and title disputes throughout Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. His practice focuses on litigation involving ownership interests, title defects, easements, restrictive covenants, community association governance, and other issues affecting real property rights.

Known for his practical judgment and steady approach, he helps clients understand complicated issues, develop sound strategies, and move difficult matters toward resolution with a focus on practical solutions and results.

Nathan represents property owners, lenders, title insurers, developers, and community associations in disputes involving title defects, competing ownership claims, easements, restrictive covenants, governance disputes, and other issues affecting real property rights. He has extensive experience advising and representing condominium and cooperative boards on fiduciary duties, governance matters, interpretation and enforcement of governing documents, and statutory compliance.

In addition to his litigation practice, Nathan counsels real estate stakeholders on property disputes, development matters, transactions, and regulatory compliance. He regularly works with title insurers, surveyors, property managers, and other real estate professionals to resolve complicated ownership and title issues and develop practical solutions that help clients move forward.

Nathan is active in organizations that shape the real estate and community association industries. He serves as a delegate to the Community Associations Institute DC Legislative Action Committee and the American Land Title Association Title Counsel Committee, where he contributes to discussions on legislative and regulatory issues affecting real estate ownership, title insurance, and community association governance. He previously served two terms as Chair of the District of Columbia Bar’s Real Estate, Housing, and Land Use Section.

Nathan is also a frequent speaker on real estate, title, and community association issues, presenting continuing legal education programs for attorneys and industry professionals. He is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center.

Outside of his practice, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons in Montgomery County.
