Overview

Mitch Weitzman represents commercial property owners, developers, and management companies in litigation involving office buildings, shopping centers, and other commercial real estate throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Mitch takes a practical approach to client service, helping clients navigate disputes efficiently and with a clear understanding of their options. He focuses on achieving effective results while minimizing unnecessary cost and disruption to his clients’ businesses.

His practice focuses on commercial lease disputes, landlord-tenant matters, and bankruptcy proceedings involving the assumption, assignment, and rejection of leases and related issues. Over the course of his nearly 50-year career, Mitch has built long-standing client relationships, some dating back to the 1980s.

Outside his practice, Mitch enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling. He is also a longtime supporter of animal welfare organizations.
