Overview
David Rahnis advises community associations, commercial property owners, landlords, tenants, and business owners on real estate and corporate matters in the District of Columbia and Maryland. His practice includes representing cooperative and condominium associations, commercial leasing, real estate acquisitions and sales, and a wide range of business transactions
David takes a collaborative, practical approach with his clients, helping them navigate complex real estate and business matters efficiently and with a clear understanding of their options.
A significant part of David’s practice is devoted to representing residential cooperative associations, condominiums, and other community associations. He advises boards and management on governance matters and negotiates construction and telecommunications agreements on behalf of associations.
David also represents landlords and tenants in commercial leasing matters involving office, healthcare, and retail properties. He works with clients to acquire and sell commercial real estate, including negotiating purchase and sale agreements and addressing title, survey, and closing matters.
In addition, David advises clients on business transactions, including the purchase and sale of operating businesses, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and trademark matters.
In his free time, David enjoys mountain biking and catching up on the latest action and thriller novels.
