Overview
Charmaine C. Galvan is a commercial lending attorney who represents lenders in a wide range of loan transactions and other commercial matters. With a deep understanding of both the legal and business aspects of commercial finance, Charmaine is skilled at navigating complex loan structures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and protecting the interests of lending institutions throughout the transaction process.
With a client-focused approach, Charmaine offers strategic advice in connection with the negotiation, drafting, and enforcement of loan agreements for SBA loans, conventional loans, construction loans, acquisition financing and asset-based lending.
Whether handling straightforward loans or intricate, multi-party transactions, Charmaine is dedicated to achieving favorable outcomes for clients while mitigating legal and financial risks.
Charmaine received her law degree from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Saint La Salle in the Philippines. She is a founding member of Washington D.C. Lawyers for Good – a community of attorneys who come together once every quarter to network, donate, learn about underserved and impactful nonprofits and vote on which ones to support together.
In her free time, Charmaine enjoys travelling with her husband and their young son. She also enjoys watching Asian movies and dramas, and loves listening and dancing to K-pop.
