Jeremy M. Tucker

Jeremy Tucker is a community association attorney at Lerch, Early & Brewer in Bethesda, Maryland who represents community associations and condominiums in a wide range of matters, including general counsel and litigation.

Managers and board members at condos, co-ops and homeowners associations turn to Jeremy for counsel on issues like governing document interpretation, enforcement and contract negotiations. Described by clients as pragmatic and energetic, he delivers a combination of solid legal advice and practical guidance to advise his clients as not only what the law states, but the impact of the decisions on the community.

Jeremy serves on the board of the CAI Washington Metro Chapter and chaired its Maryland Legislative Committee. He is a delegate on CAI's Maryland Legislative Action Committee. He received WMCCAI's "Rising Star" and President's awards in 2010, and he received the CAI Maryland Public Advocate of the Year award in both 2010 and 2008 for his work on the Maryland Legislative Committee. Jeremy also serves on the board of directors of Hillel at Gallaudet University.

Active in community affairs, Jeremy served as a commissioner on the Rockville City Historic District Commission. He also received the “Rock the Law Award” in 2007 from the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes for his pro bono work on behalf of people with disabilities.

Jeremy is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He is a frequent speaker on topics such as condominium insurance, leasing, board operations, contract negotiations and addressing second-hand smoking issues.

After receiving his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Jeremy went on to Cleveland’s Case Western Reserve University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor and received the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction Award of Excellence for the Future. He also participated in the summer law program at St. Petersburg State University in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Jeremy shares a love of the law with his identical twin, who also is an attorney. His wife, Laurie, has younger sisters who are identical twins. Jeremy and his wife have two boys, but no twins to date.
