David Kay is a Lerch, Early & Brewer attorney with the firm’s Business & Taxation, Commercial Lending and Real Estate Transactions groups.
David advises businesses and individuals regarding business transactions, commercial lending, real estate transactions, real estate finance, commercial leasing and entity formation. In addition, he assists clients in government contracting and related matters.
Prior to joining Lerch Early, David worked in both the New York City and Washington, D.C., offices of a major New York-based law firm. In the nation’s capital, he represented public and private companies in a wide variety of corporate transactions, and advised companies with respect to general corporate, securities and regulatory matters. In New York, he concentrated in the area of commercial real estate finance and the representation of institutional lenders in connection with the origination of permanent and mezzanine loans secured by various types of real estate collateral.
David is admitted to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia, New York and Florida.
Originally from Miami, David received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business Administration, where he graduated with honors. He received a Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
David is an avid guitarist and live music enthusiast.
