Overview

Sona Pancholy leads Lerch Early’s business development and marketing initiatives. In serving to identify, grow, and nurture business for the firm, she is committed to understanding the legal and business or individual needs of each of our existing and future clients.

An attorney herself, Sona understands how legal services can help individuals and businesses seize upon opportunities while mitigating risk. Sona is a trusted advisor, recognized for diplomatically fostering change and inspiring her colleagues to establish and meet high standards in delivering legal services.

Sona brings nearly 10 years of experience leading and consulting on business development initiatives at large and mid-size law firms around the world. She is a frequent speaker at business of law conferences, including moderating a recent panel on “Creating Value by Increasing Efficiency” for Bloomberg Law. She also volunteers at various international organizations to further women’s empowerment, justice and rule of law, and to advocate on behalf of Asian-American rights.

Sona is proud of her immigrant heritage. With parents and relatives who started their own businesses in the fields of manufacturing, medicine, and the arts, she learned the values of hard work, philanthropy, and commitment to others from a large extended family. When they are together, her family spends time hiking state and national parks, enjoying local vineyards, and debating… well, anything!
