Stan Reed Named 2018 "Lawyer of the Year" for Ethics and Professional Responsibility Law by Best Lawyers

Litigation attorney Stan Reed recently was selected as the 2018 "Lawyer of the Year" for Ethics and Professional Responsibility Law in Washington, DC by Best Lawyers in America. Only a single lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is honored as the "Lawyer of the Year," making this accolade particularly significant. These lawyers are selected based on particularly impressive voting averages received during the peer-review assessments.

Receiving this designation reflects the high level of respect a lawyer has earned among other leading lawyers in the same communities and the same practice areas for their abilities, their professionalism, and their integrity. Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Stan has been listed in Best Lawyers since 2007.

Stan Reed is a high profile litigator who represents individuals and corporations in complex civil and employment litigation and white-collar criminal defense work, as well as lawyers and health care providers in professional responsibility matters and investigations in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He also is noted for his adept handling of politically sensitive cases, grand jury investigations, and parallel proceedings.
