Success Story: Virginia Retirement Community Begins Phase 2 of Construction

In December 2014, Lerch Early represented The Village at Orchard Ridge, Inc., (TVOR) a National Lutheran Community continuing care retirement community in Winchester, Virginia in connection with TVOR’s closing on its $67,835,000 tax-exempt bond financing. The closing follows the successful opening of Phase 1 of the community. The proceeds of the 2014 bonds will fund construction costs related to Phase 2, which will feature additional independent living apartments and cottages, a wellness center with an indoor pool, and the expansion of dining areas and skilled nursing. Cindi Cohen, Robby Brewer, and Ted Goldstock assisted TVOR with this closing.
