Success Story: Strathmore Music Center Opens AMP

Lerch Early Legal Update

Strathmore Music Center will be expanding its musical offerings in 2015 when it opens AMP, a new music venue in the Pike & Rose development. Strathmore and the Pike & Rose developer, Federal Realty Investment Trust, entered into an agreement for Strathmore to operate a cabaret style venue with a 250 seat capacity. Through AMP, Strathmore intends to expand its programming beyond its concert hall audiences and schedule more diverse musical acts that lend themselves to a more intimate setting. Federal Realty currently is building out the space for AMP that will sit atop the iPic Theater. Strathmore plans to start the programming in early spring of 2015. Lerch Early has been an active supporter of Strathmore. Robby Brewer is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and Ann Marie Mehlert represented Strathmore in connection with the AMP agreement.
