Lerch Early Welcomes Real Estate Attorney Ann Marie Mehlert

Lerch, Early & Brewer is pleased to welcome real estate attorney Ann Marie Mehlert  as of counsel to the firm. Ann Marie works with real estate developers, investors and owners on all aspects of commercial real estate. For more than 25 years she has negotiated and documented transactions from acquisition and financing through development, leasing and sales.

Her experience includes complex real estate transactions involving sales, acquisitions, common interest developments, financing for both raw land and improved property, leasing, 1031 like-kind exchanges and a variety of development and title issues. She also has negotiated and closed complex multi-million dollar financing transactions for clients using equity financing and conventional loan financing. Ann Marie's clients include large scale residential developers, family-run development companies, individual entrepreneurs, medical professionals and non-profit companies.

Ann Marie received her Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Boston College and her Juris Doctor cum laude from The American University Washington College of Law. She is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia. Prior to joining Lerch Early, Ann Marie practiced at another Bethesda law firm.
