Lauri Cleary Receives 2007 John Carroll Society "Pro Bono Legal Service" Award

October 2007 -- Lauri E. Cleary was one of the recipients of the 2007 John Carroll Society "Pro Bono Legal Service Awards" presented on Sunday, September 30. The award is “for outstanding contributions to the Archdiocesan Legal Network of Catholic Charities", a pro bono program that serves the legal needs of the poor and homeless in the Washington, D.C. area. The awards were presented by His Excellency the Most Reverend Donald Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington, at the John Carroll Society’s Red Mass Brunch following the Mass at St. Matthew’s Cathedral, which was attended by Chief Justice Roberts and Associate Justices Scalia and Thomas of the United States Supreme Court.
