Lauri Cleary, Harry Lerch Speak on Employee Litigation and Land Use Topics

On Wednesday, January 16, Lauri E. Cleary, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Group and its Labor & Employment Group spoke to the award-winning Montgomery County, Maryland Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (MC-SHRM) on “Lessons Learned in Maryland Litigation.” Ms. Cleary discussed the current climate of suits by employees and others against employers in Maryland, and, more specifically, in Montgomery County Circuit Court and in the Maryland federal courts (the District of Maryland and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals), as well as litigation avoidance and “coping” strategies.
