Julie Reddig Speaks on Employment Law to Montgomery County Chamber

Employment attorney Julie Reddig recently spoke on Maryland employment law at "Employment Law: Preparing for 2014," a presentation to the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Small Business Committee. She discussed three new Maryland employment laws:

  • The Lien for Unpaid Wages Act,
  • The Reasonable Accommodations for Pregnant Workers Act, and
  • The Deployment of Family Members in the Armed Services Act

For each, she explained the law and what employers can do now in response.

Julie Reddig is an employment attorney at Lerch, Early & Brewer in Bethesda, Maryland. She defends management in a broad range of matters and disputes involving employment and the workplace, including wage and hour investigations by state and federal officials, discrimination, harassment, and overtime claims made by current and former employees. She represents companies at mediations, in administrative agency proceedings, and in the state and federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
