Frank Baldino Co-Authors Guide to Will Drafting in Maryland
Estate planning attorney Frank Baldino co-authored Will Drafting in Maryland, a new publication of the Maryland State Bar Association focusing on planning and drafting considerations that are common to all wills regardless of size. The guide assists estate planning attorneys in determining what their clients want and how to implement those desires. It also covers necessary clauses, preferred language, and how to anticipate and avoid probate problems. Revised and updated for the first time since November 2009, the new edition covers the following topics and includes an estate planning questionnaire, a sample will, and a sample "contingent trusts for minors" will. Frank wrote about "The Will's Basic Structure: Administrative and Dispositive Provisions," including:
- Basic Structure of a Will
- Funeral Provisions
- Tax Clauses
- General Provisions of Specific and Residuary Bequests
- Charitable Bequests
- Miscellaneous and Administrative Powers
