Employment Attorney Marc Engel Presents Employment Law Workshop to Gaithersburg Germantown Chamber Members

Employment attorney Marc Engel presented an Employment Law Workshop to Gaithersburg Germantown Chamber of Commerce (GGCC) member employers on June 28 at Launch Workspaces in Gaithersburg.

The GGCC hosted the workshop in cooperation with its Non-Profit Group. The purpose of the event was to help small and medium-sized businesses and non-profit employers understand and comply with employment laws.

Specifically, Marc spoke about:

  • Effective strategies for improving hiring decisions.
  • Successfully managing employees.
  • Handling employee terminations.
  • Best practices for understanding and preventing discrimination and retaliation claims
