Chris Roberts Participates in Family Court System Review
Divorce attorney Chris Roberts is participating in the Family Differentiated Case Management (DCM) Working Group review at the Montgomery County Circuit Court. The working group is comprised of family law attorneys, judges, and key court personnel who have interest in improving the structure and efficiency of the court process of family law cases. The participants are discussing several issues affecting the structure of family law cases, including the history, evolution, and challenges of the current DCM system; adoption and guardianship involving stepparents; and the termination of parental rights.
DCM provides a structured and active approach to the case management process. Montgomery County was the first jurisdiction in Maryland to develop DCM, beginning with the criminal caseload nearly 20 years ago.
