Bill Kominers Honored as "Indispensable Resource" by Silver Spring Chamber

Land use attorney Bill Kominers was honored at the Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce's annual gala on June 22. Bill received the "Chair's Award" for playing an exceptional role in the Chamber's success.

Bill has been involved in the Chamber's leadership for nearly a decade. Outgoing chair Douglas Parker lauded Bill as an "indispensable resource of information and advice on County government processes and getting development projects done in the region." He noted Bill's tireless work ethic, saying "It's not uncommon for [Bill] to start the morning with a Chamber meeting (understanding that he might have already been to the office before coming to Silver Spring for a meeting), then to head back to work, and to end the day at a public hearing, either for a client or for the Chamber."

Bill Kominers is a land use attorney who navigates governmental processes to help companies use their properties. He practices in the areas of land use, land development, zoning, real estate, administrative and municipal law. He also is engaged in aspects of development projects such as density limitations, traffic mitigation and plan enforcement.
