June 12, 2019
MSBA Annual Meeting Clarion Resort Fontainebleu Hotel Ocean City, MD

Bill Goldberg will be giving a “Primer on Letters of Intent and Term Sheets - When are they Enforceable?” at the 2019 Maryland State Bar Association Annual Meeting. The program will include:

  • A review and analysis of Maryland case law on the enforceability of term sheets/letters of intent through 2015;
  • How the Court of Appeals’ 2015 decision in Falls Garden clarified the law; and
  • Practical drafting tips to ensure that you’re not bound to a preliminary agreement (unless you want to be).

Bill Goldberg is a litigator who represents companies and individuals facing a variety of complex commercial disputes.

MSBA’s Legal Summit & Annual Meeting is the biggest event of the year for Maryland’s legal professionals. Visit the calendar page at for details.
