Ronald L. Early

Ronald Early is a litigation attorney at Lerch, Early & Brewer in Bethesda, Maryland. His practice is focused in the area of civil litigation.

A member of the Maryland and District of Columbia bars, Ron is a past president of the Montgomery County Inns of Court and formerly served as chairman of the American University Law School Development Council. During his long career, he has also taken leadership roles in the Maryland Bar Foundation and the Montgomery County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

He received a Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College and a Juris Doctor degree from American University’s Washington College of Law. After law school, he served in the U.S. Navy’s Judge Advocate General's Corps where he prosecuted and defended courts-martial, ultimately sitting as a military courts-martial judge.

In addition to his service to the legal profession, he formerly served as chairman of the board of the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital Foundation and as chairman of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase YMCA management committee.

A native of Washington, D.C., Ron joined the firm in 1973.
