Julie Reddig and Stan Reed successfully defended a million dollar class action lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland against a corporate officer for unpaid wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Maryland wage and hour and wage payment laws. The lawsuit attempted to hold the client personally liable in her role as a corporate officer. The case did not go to trial because the court entered a summary judgment in the client’s favor. The court dismissed all claims against the corporate officer.
