Mr. McCullough practices in the firm’s litigation department and has experience in litigating a wide variety of cases in federal and state courts, as well as in representing clients before arbitration panels and in mediation proceedings. He has represented clients in various types of business and commercial disputes, including shareholder’s derivative litigation, corporate directors’ and officers’ liability claims, business dissolutions, lender liability litigation, and disputes concerning non-competition agreements. He has also handled matters arising from the Uniform Commercial Code, and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury and wrongful death litigation. He has also represented defendants in class action litigation.

Since 2006, Mr. McCullough has served as co-chair of the Commercial Litigation Section of the Bar Association of Montgomery County, and has also served on various other sections and committees of that association. He has served on the boards of directors of three local non-profit corporations: Committee for Montgomery, the Montgomery County Police Foundation, and Interfaith Works, formerly known as Community Ministry of Montgomery County. He has also lectured at many seminars and continuing legal education sessions. In addition, he has completed extensive training as a mediator, and has been approved for appointment as a court-appointed mediator in the Circuit Courts throughout the state. 

Mr. McCullough received his B.A. degree, cum laude, from McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College) in 1980, where he was a member of Pi Gamma Mu Social Science Honor Society. In 1983, he received his J.D. degree from the University of Baltimore, where he received an American Jurisprudence Award for excellent achievement in the study of commercial transactions. After graduation from law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Theodore G. Bloom, Associate Judge of the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.
