Mr. Goldberg practices in the firm’s litigation department, where he focuses on complex commercial litigation. He was born in Stony Brook, New York in 1972. He graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut with a B.A. in economics in 1994. In 2001, Mr. Goldberg received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Wisconsin law school. While in law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Board and served as the Notes and Comments Editor for the Wisconsin International Law Journal, in which he had an article published. He also served as a judicial intern to the Chief Justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court while a third-year law student. Before joining the firm, Mr. Goldberg was a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Dow, Lohnes & Albertson PLLC, where he practiced complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. His practice also included First Amendment litigation and counseling, including defamation and pre-publication review, for media clients across the country. Mr. Goldberg is admitted to practice in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
