Mr. Core co-chairs the firm's Estate Planning and Probate Group. He was born in Clinton, Iowa on January 22, 1952. Mr. Core received a B.B.A. degree with high honors from the University of Iowa in 1974 and received his J.D. degree with highest honors from the University of Iowa in 1977, where he became a member of the Order of the Coif. Mr. Core also received an L.L.M. degree in taxation with highest honors from Georgetown University Law Center.
Mr. Core has served as an instructor at Montgomery College, teaching continuing education courses in real estate taxation for CPAs and real estate brokers. His work is primarily in the fields of trusts and estate
administration and estate planning. He was named in the 2005 - 2006 edition of "Best Lawyers in America".
He is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
