Ms. Magyar practices in the Family Law practice group where she has assisted her clients with the drafting of pre-marital agreements, facilitated adoptions, and negotiated separation agreements.  She received her B.A. degree from American University in 1992, then attended George Washington University, where she received her J.D. in 1996. Ms. Magyar is involved in the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland, and is a long-standing member of the Family Law Section. She is an active member of the Women’s Bar Associations of both the State of Maryland and Montgomery County. Ms. Magyar was selected by past Presidents of the Bar Association of Montgomery County during their respective terms to serve on community service committees, such as the Judicial Selection Committee, Minority Outreach Committee and the Lawyer to Lawyer Committee, which seeks to help attorneys with various emotional and physical problems. In 2002, Ms. Magyar served as Secretary of the Bar Association for Montgomery County and received recognition as a Bar Leader of the Montgomery County, Maryland Bar Foundation for her outstanding service to the profession and to the community. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of that Foundation. Ms. Magyar is a member of the bars of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
