Mr. DiPiazza serves as the firm's Board Chair and is a principal in the Business and Taxation group. He was born in 1957 and received a B.S. degree with highest honors from Lehigh University in 1979. He received a J.D. degree from George Washington University in 1982. Mr. DiPiazza also received a Masters of Law in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 1986. He is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia bars. 

His business and taxation practice is broad and consists primarily of representing closely held business owners, entrepreneurs, and chief executive officers, many of who own or operate regional companies. For these clients, he handles a wide range of matters involving business startups, purchases and sales of businesses, legal counseling, and tax planning. He also has particular experience representing non-profit organizations, religious organizations and hospitals and physicians in a wide variety of business and transactional matters. 

Mr. DiPiazza is actively involved in the Greater Silver Spring Chase Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Board of Directors and serves as general counsel to the Executive Committee. From 1992-2001 and from 2004 to present he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Washington Christian Academy serving as President, Vice-President and Treasurer. He is a member of a Vistage International group.
