Overview

Emily Hagan is a corporate attorney who helps businesses with corporate governance and transactions.  Prior to joining Lerch Early, she was with a commercial firm based in Delaware, where she worked with publicly traded and privately held Delaware corporations, as well as their boards or special committees of the board in cases of potential transactions, conflicts of interest, or fiduciary duty issues.

Emily received her law degree cum laude from Duke University School of Law, and her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from St. Mary's College of Maryland, where she was Phi Beta Kappa and chair of the Judicial Board.

Emily was born and raised in Bethesda. Outside work, she enjoys playing tennis and listening to podcasts, including This American Life, Dear Sugar, and My Favorite Murder.
