The Bar Association of Montgomery County presented two Lerch, Early & Brewer attorneys with awards at the association's 118th Annual Meeting & Law Day Celebration. Rhian McGrath received the "Committee Chair of the Year" award for her work co-chairing the Community Outreach Committee, and Erin Kopelman received the "Section Chair of the Year" award for her work co-chairing the Family Law Section.
The Community Outreach Committee provides volunteer opportunities for the members of the bar association to reach out to the community and have a positive impact on each other and the people who live in the community in which they practice. The committee coordinates bar association volunteers at organizations like Shepherd's Table and Special Olympics.
The Family Law Section provides educational and networking events for family law practitioners; tracks family law related legislation; supports the Commission for Women's divorce seminars for the public and organizes family law pro bono efforts.
Rhian McGrath and Erin Kopelman are both family law attorneys at Lerch, Early & Brewer in Bethesda, Maryland who help people with all aspects of divorce and separation, including matters involving custody, complex litigation, child support and alimony.
