Bethesda-based law firm Lerch, Early & Brewer participated in Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School's 19th Annual Career Partnership Day in early December. The morning kicked off with a welcome at the school from Lerch Early community association attorney Jeff Van Grack, a B-CC alum who volunteers as the special teams coach for the school's varsity football team.
Two students, Raphael Sacks and Micah English, then came to the firm where Caitlin Grant gave them a tour and overview. Raphael and Micah next shadowed Robby Brewer at a hearing before the Montgomery County Planning Board.
The students' day concluded with a luncheon where they were joined by Jeff, Caitlin, Patrick O'Neil, Mike Neary and Paul Alpuche. The attorneys gave advice and answered questions about what they do, why they became lawyers and the challenges and rewards of a life in private practice.
Career Partnership Day was a joint program between B-CC High School, Junior Achievement and the Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce.
