The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce presented the Ron Resh Business Advocate Award to Robby Brewer for his years of service to the community. The award was presented at the Chamber’s 5th Annual Legislative Outlook Breakfast.
“As it was appropriate that the first annual Ron Resh Business Advocate Award be given to Rona Kramer in 2010, it’s just as appropriate that the 2nd award be given to Robby Brewer. His advocacy efforts have truly served to ensure that the B-CC Community is regarded as the preeminent place to do business in the Washington Metro area,” stated Leslie Ford Weber, Chair of the Chamber.
In addition to serving as the chamber’s chairman and general counsel, over the last several decades, Robby has served on land use committees and task forces throughout the county that focused on changing our community for the better. “From Woodmont Triangle to White Flint, Robby has always served as the voice of business and has helped government decision-makers understand the business perspective when considering the future development of the County,” stated Ginanne Italiano, President & CEO of the Chamber. Known for his calm demeanor and ability to put everyone at ease, Robby currently serves on the board of the Montgomery County Business Development Corporation as the representative for the chambers of commerce in Montgomery County.
