As a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Young Leaders Group Program Committee, April Mackoff coordinated a recent program on “North Bethesda Market: A Catalyst for the Transformation of White Flint.” The sold-out program featured a discussion of the development of the project from conception to construction, as well as a tour of the project and a networking reception at the newly-opened Seasons 52 restaurant. Speakers included Kai Reynolds, Executive Development Officer for The JBG Companies and Lerch Early’s Steve Robins, who serves as lead land use attorney for the project. North Bethesda Market is a 1.2 million square-feet project that includes 397 apartments and 200,000 square feet of retail near the White Flint Metro.
